There is a call for papers for the panel The Stage and the Comics Page: Graphic Adaptations of Plays, Theatrical Adaptations of Comics. On the 4th and 5th August, in Faro,  the “7th Manga and comic event” will take place in  Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve and will  have table and video games, exhibitions, cosplay, workshops and other activities. Tickets can be purchased until 3rd August in Fórum Algarve and have a cost of 4 and 5 euro, for the participation during one day or two day respectively.  Link (29/07/2018, Portuguese, RR)

Until the 14th September, the exhibition “a três vintêns – 100 anos de fascículos de aventuras em Portugal”, which consists of an exhibition of the comic issues published during 100 years in Portugal, takes place in the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal [National Library] in Lisbon.
